I was raised in Rocksprings, Texas and have been an insurance agent for over 25 years. My journey into the workforce started when I worked for my family’s business , served on the City Council at 19, and Edwards County Commissioner’s Court at 21. In 1987, I moved to Fort Stockton, opened a satellite office, and held various public service roles, including Mayor from 2001-2005. I later moved to San Angelo, Texas, to serve State Farm customers.

In 2005, I also had the honor of appearing in a national State Farm commercial. Outside of the office I enjoy family vacations and golf, you’ll never catch me without my golf clubs.

As for community involvement, I am an M.A.N.O Founder, ADACCV Board Member, West Texas C.R.E.O. Executive Board Member, Southside Lion's Club, Board Director, Former Chamber of Commerce Executive Board Member, Former Economic Development VP, Former Public Housing Authority Chairman, Angelo State University Athletics Foundation Board, Ft Stockton Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Member, American GI Forum, and the Knights of Columbus just to mention a few.
